Northern Wu Style Tai Ji Quan

Northern Wu Style Tai Ji Quan Association

During this year’s Beijing training trip, our Northern Wu Style Tai ji Quan grandmaster Li Bing Ci stated, again, that he expected us, by staying together as a group, to spread this style of the art in the West.  In order to promote our Northern Wu Style Tai Ji Quan worldwide practice, Frank Allen and Tina Zhang establish this association and proudly have grandmaster Li as our honorary president of this association. 

This association is for people who have practiced or start to seriously practice this style and willing to be a part of the family of the living lineage of Grandmaster Li Bing Ci.  We need to stay together through our work to porpularize this classical legacy into a worldwide practice while maintaining the ancient-respected lineage approach of the traditional martial arts.

The idea is to keep us unified and develop into a bigger family of Northern Wu Style Tai Ji Quan in the West, and help everyone who would like to practice, teach others, and spread this art. This is a step not only for letting more people in the world know about us and enjoy this wonderful practice as much as we do, but also to credit each of us as qualified practitioners or instructors in this lineage.  Hopefully, the association will continue to exist generation after generation and ensure the same quality of instruction and consistency of the practice at all locations, and more classes, workshops will be conducted at all levels by the associate of the association!  

What a exciting thing that we will have more martial arts brothers and sisters everywhere around the global to comunicate to each other through the internet or having a visit when you travel!

Here are the details about how to join us and be an associate:

1. Anyone who studies this style at any locations around the world is eligible to join this association and be an associate (you don’t have to be an official instructor, but if you are, it’ll be motioned on your web page).

2. Every associate is entitled to have his/her name and  location listed on the index on the home page.  More information, links, can be added on their own page for web visitors to read by clicking on his/her name and location. All associates can use this official web site as his/her own web marketing tool to promote his/her practice and teaching, and as their name card, if they want.

3. Tina Zhang will help to load the information when the associate emails her the information such as their biography, photos, contact information, class schedule, workshops, news, tips of practice, etc. They can add anything, as long as its related to Northern Wu Style Tai Ji Quan, or other internal art, Chinese medicine, or health related themes. Feel free to express yourself!
